St. James is scheduled to volunteer on July 8th and July 17th. Madison Riley is leading the charge. Habitat hopes for us to provide 12 volunteers on each of the two days.

Each volunteer is required to register before the days(s) on which they volunteer.
Here are schedules for Team Build Day Volunteers:
Arrival: 7:45 AM
Be ready to work: 8 AM
Coffee, pastries, and a devotion: 10 AM-ish
Lunch: 12 PM-ish *Habitat will be providing lunch.
Departure: 3:15 PM
July 8th – All team day participants need to be registered by Wednesday, June 26th
July 17th – All team day participants need to be registered by Tuesday, July 8th fo
WHAT TO WEAR
Sturdy boots are best; sneakers are okay. Open-toed shoes are not allowed on the site; no CROCS!
Wear clothing and gear that might come home with a little “sweat equity” on it.
Please avoid baggy clothing and dangling jewelry.

Safety Glasses *Habitat has safety glasses on-site, but feel free to bring your own.
Dress in layers and for the weather! The build site can be very windy!
WHAT TO BRING *Note: Tools are available on-site.

Sandra Harrison, Volunteer and Community Relations Manager for Habitat for Humanity, has provided the following detail:
Team Day – Tuesday, July 8th (Registration Deadline – June 26th)

Team Day – Thursday, July 17th (Registration Deadline – July 8th)
You are welcome to volunteer on either or both days at 2254 Old Kings Highway in Wellfleet with Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod. The day will start at 7:45 A M and end at 3:15 PM (it may end closer to 2 PM depending on the tasks). You’ll be volunteering alongside future homeowners and volunteers at Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod’s Old Kings Highway build site. No experience is needed and expect to have fun! We will teach you the necessary skills to accomplish the task.

- Madison Riley hopes to recruit up to 12 participants for each team day and provide a list of first and last names to sandra@habitatcapecod.org as soon as possible.
- Volunteers all need to Click this link to create an online account or if you have already volunteered with us, please log in; this will also add you to your team day group.
- You’ll need to e-sign an Annual Waiver under the qualifications section. If qualifications aren’t prompted and you have an account, go to your initials and click the dropdown menu. Please skip the CORI form, unless you plan on volunteering with us beyond your team day.
